Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Oregon Humane Society! If you're interested in a specific pet, we'd be happy to discuss their general behavior, and any observations we've made, during an in-person meet and greet. Our adoption counselors can answer any further questions you may have during the meet and greet. Due to our first-come, first-served, walk-in adoption process, we cannot guarantee availability, but our adoption counselors are happy to assist you in finding the best match for your home! 

Our shelters are open for walk-in viewing every day from 10:00am to 7:00pm and in-person meet and greets are first-come-first-serve walk-in based between 10am-6:30pm. We recommend coming in earlier in the day for the best chance at having an available adoption specialist for a meet and greet.  

Information about our adoption process can be found on our website here. Bringing home a pet is a family decision, so we encourage you to bring the whole family and other decision-makers. If you're thinking about adopting a dog, don't forget a leash!
