MUST NOT BE BOOKED MORE THAN 24-HOURS IN ADVANCE. If we do not have an available appointment, refer to other hospitals or see MedSups SOP.

BLOCKED MALE CATS are always an emergency, and owners must be referred to an emergency hospital. They do not qualify for an Urgent Care exam through CVH.

THIS TYPE OF APPOINTMENT SHOULD BE USED FOR:

• Patient is stable but is experiencing symptoms in line with needing medical attention within the next 24 hours
• OHS post adopt where patient has advanced signs of kennel cough, URI, or other pressing needs
